All Lusade puppies are lovingly cared for until their departure to their new homes at seven weeks of age. The magic number of forty-nine days has been proven over the years to be a successful time for the puppy to enter into his/her new environment as the mental development is at a stage where the puppy can adjust quite quickly. With the help of our three children our puppies are introduced to as many obstacles as possible. This ranges from wheelbarrow rides, toboggan rides, to being dressed up in doll clothes. Noise is something we are sure to introduce them to as well but with three children it generally isn't a problem. We believe that all this social introduction makes the adjustment of new people, places and things much easier for him/her upon departure.
